The greatest thing about this place is that when you are there, you don't want to leave! Everything is peaceful. The energy and vibe of the space is safe and warm. One trip to the grocery store and it is the perfect place to hunker down and hide out with friends and family. Beautiful plants, a great selection of books, games and records, and access to so many streaming services and a projector and screen! The rooftop grill, hot tub, and "grassy" area are perfect for afternoon winding down with a cup of tea or a glass of wine! And the robes and slippers provided for the walk to the roof are just perfect additions to the overall vibe of this place. From the heated bathroom floors to the relaxing claw-footed bath tub, this place is a gem! The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, basic seasonings, and cleaning supplies. The furniture and beds are comfortable and clean. We will definitely be back!

Aaron and his wife were very welcoming and even notified me of a local tornado warning and offered the option to seek shelter in the basement. The property was very thoughtfully curated and modernized while keeping the historical and local charm. I will definitely stay in one of their properties in the future and highly recommend the hosts!

Very spacious and private at the same time. Great common area to commune, and if you want alone time, the rooms provide that privacy. Location close to the downtown area, walking distance to restaurants. Would stay again!

We enjoyed a girls weekend in the penthouse and absolutely loved it. It’s a gorgeous space with lots of room to spread out. We loved playing records on the turntable and watching movies on the projector screen. The rooftop lounge area was great and we loved the hot tub. The area is super quiet and peaceful but walkable to a lot of good shopping and restaurants. Fairfield is such a cool and interesting town. The people are super friendly and we definitely plan to come back!

This was a wonderful place to enjoy the company of friends and family. You will be wowed and wish you didn’t have to leave. It is a beautiful place and the roof is incredible. I can’t recommend staying here more. Best in Fairfield.

We had a wonderful stay at the carriage house. The space was spotless, beautifully appointed, and incredibly comfortable. We especially appreciated the tea kettle and thoughtful details that made it feel welcoming and easy to settle into. The location was perfect, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would and will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was great as it was walking distance from most places we visited while in town. Aaron was very communicative and provided suggestions for things to do during our stay. He was very responsive to our questions and always friendly. Aaron’s place is brand new with a pristine kitchen and high end supplies. This place is on the second floor (which was described in the listing), so make sure you’re comfortable with carrying suitcases or climbing stairs, but you do get the attic (2nd bedroom) with 2 single beds. Aaron and Melanny were very responsive and resolved our issue with the light switch almost immediately. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a beautiful home in Fairfield. Thanks Aaron and Melanny for hosting us!
